High Level Order Picker


High level order picker trucks are used for the fast moving operation where medium and high level order picking are required.

Also know to be used for stock checking, and other medium and high level functions

As per the VNA truck, they are only steered by the operator when transferring from one picking aisle to another. Once in the picking aisle the trucks are steered automatically ( either wire or rail guided).

Course Aim

The aim of this course is to teach new operators to prepare, safely operate and maintain a forklift truck.

Our Training Method's


During our classroom learning there will be theory learning as well as video content. This is backed up by practical excercises on forklifts and group participation.


Knowledge

On completion of the course participants will have a good understanding of the following;

  • Their statutory duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • The machine identification, terminology and daily maintenance
  • The safety aspects relating to the safe operation of this machine
  • The effect of load size, weight, gradients and ground copnditions upon machine stability
